Our History Webblock Solutions was founded in 2008 by Ike, Jack, Jerry and Taylor Webb. The Webb Family is certainly no stranger to entrepreneurship, having also formed Webb Brother’s Transfer Inc. (Est. 1981) and Beaver Creek Plantation (Est. 1997) but this time was different. In the face of rising fuel costs and slower membership growth at the hunting plantation due to the growing economic crisis, Taylor Webb knew he needed to think of something to keep the family businesses afloat. While researching the internet, he came across an article indicating that college campuses in Europe are beginning to use recycled shipping containers as temporary housing for college students. Intrigued with the idea, Taylor appealed to his father and uncles for help. It was not long before his abstract idea soon became a reality. The combination of decades of experience and recently honed carpentry skills from creating a state-of-the-art 8,000 sq ft hunting lodge was a recipe for success. The artfully executed style of the building and rave reviews of early clients made the Webb’s quickly realize they had a success on their hands.
